Tournament Description

This is our club's third annual event! We are super excited to keep this tradition going. We are again looking to having a lot of fun and see some great pickleball in action. Please use your best Pickleball manners during this event.

Currently there is no food being offered - please bring snacks and plenty of water. The tournament director brings snacks to help out. If we find a vendor to assist with this, we will update right away.

The tournament schedule is planned to be posted 5 days before the event.

Where does your registration money go, you may ask? First and foremost, your registration fees go to cover the court costs so we can all get good competitive play together! Second- money raised through raffles will go to the purchase of an AED for Dayton Metro Pickleball. Although there is one on site, it is currently on loan and we would like to have our own, for the safety of our players. Any additional funds left over will go toward the construction of our outdoor courts - the sooner we raise the money, the sooner we get to break ground :)

All workers (including Kim and Rick) for this event are VOLUNTEERS. Please be kind and professional to them because their pay stinks for this gig!

Additional Information

Bring sunscreen! Most play will be outdoors.

The Fruits of Our Labor will offer Gender Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

Men's Singles (MS) will play Friday, Sept 5 (THIS WILL BE HELD AT DAYTON METRO PICKLEBALL, VANDALIA)

Women's Singles (WS) will play Friday, Sept 5 (THIS WILL BE HELD AT DAYTON METRO PICKLEBALL, VANDALIA)

Women's Doubles (WD) will play on Saturday, Sept 6

Men's Doubles (MD) will play on Saturday, Sept 6

Mixed Doubles (MXD) will play on Sunday, Sept 7

The following divisions are available for registration:

3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 + Doubles (MD, WD, MXD)

Age divisions include: Junior, 50+ and open in all divisions. In the event of low registration numbers in a category, divisions may be merged together. (low=less than 5)

Current tournament goals are: 10 teams in each doubles division. We will adjust later in the registration process in order to accommodate as many teams as possible.

Events will be Round Robin games to 11 (win by 2) and the top 6 teams will move on to a medal bracket. Top 6 teams advance. Bracket play will be will be single elimination to 11 win by 2 until the medal games.

Medal games: game to 15, win by 2.

Only USAPA Approved paddles allowed.
